A significant shift in the Cleveland Browns quarterback competition emerged Wednesday when rookie Shedeur Sanders earned his first opportunity against the team’s starting defense — and made the most of it.

The Colts are currently fielding a quarterback competition that features Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones, both former first-round picks who are currently in the "bust" group.

With that in mind, head coach Kevin Stefanski spoke out with an update about how Sanders has fared so far in training camp action. As shared by Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal, Stefanksi revealed that Sanders has been working hard. He did not give an update about where the rookie signal caller stands in the competition.
