A school bus slammed into a tree in Butler County on Thursday morning, sending the driver and two Mars Area elementary students to the hospital. According to the Adams Township police chief, there were 30 to 40 students on board when it crashed on Three Degree Road near the township park.

The two-vehicle accident sent the bus into a tree on Three Degree Road in Adams Township. The driver was injured, along with several students. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.

Multiple Mars Area School District students were injured Thursday morning when a school bus crashed in Adams Township. Butler County 911 dispatch said the bus hit a tree head-on around 8:30 a.m. on the 1600 block of Three Degree Road.
