“At this time, no injuries were reported to law enforcement, nor has the person that Checklick Jr. struck with his vehicle been identified by law enforcement,” said the Culpeper Police Department.
He added that Checklick Jr. has a supportive family, including a brother in the military. The judge denied the request and ordered him held without bond. Checklick Jr. is due back in court Aug. 4.
