The Raiders' abrupt release of Christian Wilkins last week wasn't only about his lingering foot injury, it seems.

The Las Vegas Raiders recently released defensive tackle Christian Wilkins and are attempting to void the remainder of the guaranteed money ($35.2 million) on his contract due to his alleged treatment on the rehab from a foot injury,

Appearing Monday on Pat McAfee's show, ESPN's Adam Schefter said that Wilkins " playfully went to kiss a teammate on top of his head ," and that the player took offense to it. Schefter added that this is the story that has been the subject of speculation and "dancing around."
