The first full month of the MLB season has mercifully come to an end for the Rockies, who are on pace to make some unsettling history.

Chapman has recorded just three hits and 13 strikeouts over his last 10 games. That’s good for a .088 batting average and a .450 OPS. And as noted, he doesn’t have great numbers against Freeland, going 1-for-8 with two strikeouts.

Colorado avoided becoming just the second MLB team since 1901 to lose at least 26 of its first 30 games of the season.
