There has been some reported interest from the Celtics organization (among several other ball clubs) to sign recently cut Milwaukee Bucks floor general Damian Lillard. Cut from the Bucks due to his hefty contract and status as an injured player unlikely to see the court in the season to come thanks to a torn Achilles tendon,

For the Bucks, moving Lillard was necessary to make room for Turner. Antetokounmpo and Turner reportedly wanted to play together, and Milwaukee obliged. Turner fits in the frontcourt next to Antetokounmpo and could be enough to push the two-time MVP to re-up with the franchise next summer.
