After several high-profile incidents in recent months, Falcons cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. had his Georgia home burglarized early Friday morning, according to TMZ . Security cameras caught three men rummaging through the home after breaking in through the back door while Hamilton, who turned 32 on Friday, was out of town.

Falcons player Antonio Hamilton Sr. reported a burglary at his Roswell home around midnight on Jan. 24, with suspects caught on security cameras. Items Stolen: Thieves took a safe containing firearms and expensive handbags but left behind most items when fleeing before police arrived.

Hamilton, who was on vacation with his family when the incident occurred, notified officers that the suspects stole a safe containing firearms as well as other expensive items, the report states.

Since last fall, several NFL and NBA players have had their homes broken into and burgled in a string of robberies that has caught the attention of the FBI. Just last night, another pro athlete joined that unfortunate list.
