A 7-year-old girl died after being struck by a falling boulder at a ski resort in Nevada over the weekend. The incident occurred at Diamond Ski Resort in Incline Village, northeast of the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe and just by the California border.

The child was at the Diamond Peak Ski Resort, which said in a statement that she had not been skiing at the time it happened.
