K-State players lamented the final play of the night. It went poorly from the beginning when Tang instructed his team to call a timeout after the ball crossed midcourt. But the timeout was called too early and the Wildcats had to in-bound the ball from the backcourt.

Noah Reynolds scored 18 points and made the go-ahead basket during TCU’s game-ending 7-0 run to defeat Kansas State 63-62.

Kansas State is coming off its biggest victory to date, a 70-67 upset of No. 17 Cincinnati in the Big 12 opener. But the Wildcats have lost 11 straight road games and TCU is 7-0 at home this season, so give the edge to the Horned Frogs.
