Mel Brooks will reprise his role as Yogurt in a new Spaceballs sequel from Amazon MGM, set for 2027. The cult comedy legend returns to acting just ahead of his 99th birthday.

Brooks, an EGOT winner, having earned an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, has not been in front of the camera much in recent years, but has given his voice to several projects.
