New York Attorney General Letitia James weighed in on the ongoing dispute between MSG Networks and Altice on Monday, warning that she is watching out for consumers’ interests as the standoff approaches the two-week mark.

New York Attorney General Letitia James pressed MSG Networks and Altice — the parent company of Optimum — to settle the ongoing dispute that has left Knicks, Rangers, Islanders and Devils fans without the ability to watch local games since midnight on Jan.

MSG Networks carries the Islanders, Rangers and Devils games in addition to the Knicks. A carriage dispute is a disagreement over compensation between the distributor, which is Altice, to carry a channel from the provider, which is MSG Networks.
