The Atlanta Falcons got off to a promising start in their preseason opener against the Detroit Lions, but the game was suspended after Lions safety Morice Norris was hospitalized to begin the fourth quarter.

After getting dominated from start to finish by the Los Angeles Chargers in the Hall of Fame game, Detroit Lions fans are happy that we’re on to another weekend of preseason action. While the 34-7 loss is utterly meaningless, it’s best that taste gets washed out as soon as possible, even if Detroit remains near the top of the Super Bowl odds.
