SAN DIEGO (KABC) -- Another brush fire erupted Wednesday morning in San Diego County, prompting evacuation orders. The so-called Center Fire was reported at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday in the Rancho Bernardo community near Bernardo Center Drive and Camino del Norte and had the potential to burn up to 100 acres, authorities said.

Naval Fire initially started 10:28 a.m. Jan. 20 in San Diego County. It has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service for nine days. At this time, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.

Cal Fire and local agencies are investigating several recent fires in the region, including the Border 2 Fire that has burned over 6,600 acres.

Evacuation orders that were issued have expanded due to a growing vegetation fire that broke out in the Bonsall area of San Diego County Tuesday morning.
