President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act on Friday afternoon, following through on his self-imposed deadline to approve the spending legislation by July 4. Trump called the signing of the bill the “greatest victory yet.

On a day of patriotic celebration at the White House, the president signed the “Big, Beautiful Bill” a signature policy bill that cements a collection of Trump’s campaign promises.

Congressional Republicans are hoping to send their sweeping tax and spending cuts package, otherwise known as the “big, beautiful bill,” to President Donald Trump’s desk by July 4. The House and Senate have each narrowly passed their own versions of the bill.
