According to Raleigh police officers, the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. on Capital Boulevard near Trawick Road. The accident also took out stop lights and powerlines at the intersection.
When asked what caused the crash or if anyone else was injured, troopers told WRAL News the investigation is ongoing.
