Sheila Doyle, 66, of Fairfax, Virginia was last seen with her 35-year-old son Brian Doyle June 15 at a home in the Salt Pond development of Bethany Beach, according to Delaware State Police.

Brian M. Doyle is a professor of theology and director of the Center for Ethical Concerns at Marymount University in Arlington, Va.

Brian Doyle, who died in 2017 after a short battle with cancer, was one such blessed anomaly in the literary landscape. Doyle worked (or better, played) with a variety of forms.
