Irsay Foyt, a Colts employee working in marketing and community relations, is linked to Indianapolis Motor Speedway royalty as the wife of former IndyCar driver and 2002 Indy Lights champion A.J. Foyt IV. Irsay Foyt is the granddaughter-in-law of the legendary A.J. Foyt, whose four Indianapolis 500 wins ties him for most all time.

Casey Irsay Foyt, the daughter of late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, will serve as honorary starter for the Indianapolis 500 and wave the green flag on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Colts will wear a black patch on their jerseys in 2025 to honor late owner Jim Irsay, who died last week at the age of 65. Irsay’s patch includes his initials in bold white letters, overlaid by a copy of his signature and the trademark smiley face he always used to write on autographs for fans.
