At least one person has been killed and five injured after a boat exploded in Lauderdale Marina, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A Quebec resident was killed and three others were seriously injured in the explosion at the fuel pump, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue officials said.

Two other boats docked at the same marina caught on fire after the explosion. Officials are still investigating the cause, but local reports say they are looking into the marina’s fuel pumps.
