Audrey invites Bill for dinner, but is so nervous she forgets the food will need to be cooked. Norris comes a cropper when the graffiti artist turns the tables on him.

Norris thinks he's caught the graffiti artist in the act and tries to make a citizen's arrest, while Eileen prepares to be baptised so she can be a godmother to Freddie.

Danny and Jamie's high-speed car ride comes to a dramatic end at the viaduct, while Paul's wife Carla lords it over the factory girls. Norris's night watch leads to trouble.

Liam grows concerned for Danny as the distraught factory boss heads for the viaduct, and Cilla goes in to hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, Norris tries to catch a vandal.

Danny asks the long-suffering Frankie to be his wife again - while a startled Jamie looks on. Audrey plants a kiss on Bill in the Rovers and Claire wonders about Tracy's behaviour.

David puts the cat among the pigeons by sending Tracy a sympathy card, while Jamie is devastated to see Frankie and Danny growing closer. Liz wonders when Bev will move on.

Liz succumbs to Vernon's overtures when he turns up at the Rovers with a bunch of half-dead flowers and a balloon. Jamie realises he has to leave Weatherfield.

Frankie struggles to handle her feelings following Jamie's confession. Rita leads a musical tribute to Fred in the Rovers, and Audrey stuns the crowd by declaring her love for him.
