Budget documents indicated that the LPG subsidy for the financial year 2025 was allocated at ₹14,700 crore, but this amount was decreased to ₹12,100 crore for 2026.
From today, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder stands at Rs 1,797 in Delhi. Similar reductions will also be implemented in other cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.
