Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball officially bolstered the 2025–26 roster with a unique addition on Friday: Canadian point guard Nginyu Ngala, who committed after an accomplished U Sports career in Canada.

Nginyu “Gee” Ngala, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound point guard from Montreal, Canada, will play basketball at Kansas this season, his agent, Pete Yannopoulos, told The Field of 68. Two sources close to the situation confirmed the commitment to The Star.
