The NHTSA issued multiple recalls last week, including notices for vehicles from Jeep, Genesis, and Winnebago.

Fortunately, finding out if your Jeep has an active recall is easy: Simply use the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to check directly through Jeep's website, NHTSA, or other third-party services.

Chrysler, which is owned by the same company as Jeep (Stellantis), reported the recall to the NHTSA on July 17.

Jeep vehicles were the subject of several recalls in 2024. A recall of 338,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees in February 2024 involved a ball joint issue that could result in a loss of control by the driver.
