Over the years, Warner Bros. has tried to monetize its catalog of older movies through different subscription streaming services, including FilmStruck — which it shut down less than a year after it launched in 2018.

Most of these offerings aren’t available on the Warner Bros. streaming platform, Max. There’s no explanation as to why the entertainment giant has made these movies free to watch on YouTube, or why this perplexing set of films was selected, but it’s one less barrier to accessing some (admittedly obscure) content without a subscription or paywall.

There are a million and one movies scattered across a million and one streaming services. You can watch Warner Bros. movies on several of these services, but many of them cost money. Well, it looks like the old WB has taken pity on us.
