Details released on New Waterford Coal Bowl Classic, Red Cup Showcase tournaments set for next monthThe New Waterford Coal Bowl Classic basketball tournament and the Red Cup Showcase hockey tournament are set to take centre stage in the sports community during the first week of February.
They promised the first Coal Bowl Classic would tip off in 1982 at Breton Education Centre. Teams from the region and other parts of Canada would come to small town New Waterford to play basketball.
