You may have come across recipes calling for lemon juice in quantities larger ... to break down its vesicles even further. (Do NOT try to microwave frozen lemons, it won't work!) ...

Carefully cut lids off the whole lemons and using a juicer/reamer, squeeze and push out all the juice ... frozen, scoop some into the hollowed out lemons. Sprinkle with a little extra lemon zest ...
