Sean Woodson (12-1-1 MMA, 6-1-1 UFC) emerged victorious in his backyard of St. Louis on May 11, defeating Alex Caceres (21-15, 1 NC MMA, 16-13, 1 NC UFC) via unanimous decision.

He recently defeated longtime UFC alum Alex Caceres, and credits Valle Flow Systems Academy in Bensenville, lll., for the dominant performance.

After 14 years, Alex Caceres is no longer on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) roster, but he’s already got a rebound scheduled in Mike Perry’s Dirty Boxing promotion.

Although Alex Caceres isn’t currently ranked at featherweight, the veteran has previously held a spot in the rankings and is the biggest name Woodson has beaten so far.
