Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou provided an update on the latest injury amid his defensive absentee crisis. Spurs lost for the fourth time in five Premier League games on Boxing Day, falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest.

Ange Postecoglou has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur “need to reinforce” their squad in the January transfer window. Spurs have been hit by an injury crisis with seven players unavailable including first-choice centre-backs Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero as well as goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
