Washington — President Trump brought pomp and circumstance to his signing of the " big, beautiful bill " on Friday, with an Independence Day ceremony at the White House that included a B-2 bomber flyover.

The sweeping bill that will cut taxes and impact funding to social programs was passed in the House by a vote of 218-214 on Thursday, July 3.

Many Americans received an email from the Social Security Administration applauding the megabill's passage. Experts say it was misleading.
