Duke quarterback Henry Belin found himself in a no-win situation, forced into a starting role as the Blue Devils faced Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl.

The Duke football team exceeded expectations all year, overcoming multiple fourth-quarter deficits en route to a 9-3 regular-season record, but the lasting image from its final game will be a fire extinguisher.

Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss’ all-time passing leader, will take the field in Jacksonville, along with NFL prospects Trey Amos, Walter Nolen and Jared Ivey. On the other hand, Duke will be without quarterback Maalik Murphy and running back Star Thomas, both of whom entered the transfer portal.
