Novak Djokovic fell in the final round of the Miami Open to 19-year-old Jakub Mensik in straight sets, 7-6, 7-6, on Sunday. Mensik, playing in his first final, earned his spot after defeating No. 3 seed Taylor Fritz in the semifinals and became the second-youngest champion in tournament history, per ATP Tour.

The last perfect women’s NCAA Tournament has been busted. Top-seeded UCLA's 72-65 win over LSU on Sunday ended the final perfect bracket out of 3.2 million on ESPN’s bracket tracker. The final flawless brackets on the CBS Sports platform ended with TCU's 71-62 win over Notre Dame on Saturday.

Madison Connor leads all scorers with nine points for TCU. But the Horned Frogs trail Notre Dame, 30-26. The Irish have taken the lead, 24-20, on an 11-0 run capped by an Olivia Miles 3-pointer. TCU was bound to cool off after its scorching start and Notre Dame has taken advantage of the cold spell.

And then there was one. TCU’s 71-62 win over Notre Dame on Saturday took out six perfect brackets in the women’s NCAA Tournament, leaving one out of 3.2 million on ESPN’s bracket tracker.

The first round saw three “upsets” in the voting, as No. 9 Mark Ingram, No. 10 Julio Jones and No. 11 Shaun Alexander all beat out higher-seeded Crimson Tide legends. No. 1 DeVonta Smith, No. 2 Derrick Henry, No. 3 Derrick Thomas, No. 4 John Hannah and No. 5 Cornelius Bennett also advanced from the first round.

Three No. 1 seeds have reached the Final Four in a single men’s NCAA Tournament just five times, according to the NCAA. The last and only time the Final Four featured all four No. 1 seeds was in 2008 when Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina and UCLA all reached the semifinals.

Two tickets to the final weekend of the Big Dance in San Antonio for the 2025 Final Four will be punched on Saturday and nets will be cut down as the focus will be on the West Regional and the East Regional of the NCAA Tournament bracket.

The puck won’t drop at the 2025 Frozen Four until April 10, but the field for college hockey’s preeminent event is starting to come together, with the regional semifinals of the NCAA Tournament complete and the regional finals drawing to a close.
