The Pittsburgh Pirates played one of the best top of the first innings in MLB history on Friday night in Colorado. Coors Field was the site of MLB history not achieved since 1893, in what was a 30-12 Cincinnati Reds win over the Louisville Colonels.

The Cincinnati Reds are acquiring third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes from the Pittsburgh Pirates ahead of Thursday's MLB trade deadline, Jeff Passan reported Wednesday for ESPN.

Per Passan, heading to the Pirates as part of the trade will be shortstop prospect Sammy Stafura, as well as veteran left-handed pitcher Taylor Rogers. Stafura, 20, is ranked as the No. 9 prospect in Cincinnati's farm system by MLB Pipeline and is currently playing at Single A.
