Duke star forward Cooper Flagg missed Friday’s ACC tournament semifinal showdown against archrival North Carolina after an ankle injury suffered in the Blue Devils’ victory over Georgia Tech a day prior.

Duke freshman Cooper Flagg appeared to injure his left ankle after slipping under the basket and was helped to the locker room by two teammates late in the first half. He did not return.

Ahead of Duke 's Friday night contest against North Carolina, the Blue Devils were officially confirmed to be without superstar Cooper Flagg. The 18-year-old freshman injured his ankle earlier this week against Georgia Tech. "Cooper's made good progress, but he's just not there yet," coach Jon Scheyer
