The U.S. President has been formally nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in ending the recent conflict between Cambodia and Thailand.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have committed to a lasting peace after decades of conflict, Donald Trump said on Friday as he hosted a signing event at the White House.

Cambodia’s prime minister said on Thursday he has nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, lauding his “extraordinary statesmanship” in halting a border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand.
