After a dose of rain early next week, the forecast for Southeast Texas is looking lovely if you have outdoor plans with your valentine on Feb. 14.

Expect two more very warm days with highs in the low to mid 80s Friday and mid 80s on Saturday. A cold front will get closer, but isn't expected to make it as far south as the Houston area, so the main effects will be a better chance for scattered showers.

Temperatures the next few days will once again soar to the 80s during the afternoon which is about 15° above normal for this time of February.
