The quest for the Little League Softball World Series title begins on Sunday with four exciting matchups. Coming out of the Northwest, the team from Mill Creek, Washington ran through the competition, going 4-0 to reach the World Series. Lake Mary won the Southeast by winning four straight elimination games.

The Lake Mary 12U team beat Virginia 8-1 to win the region, which was hosted in Georgia. The girls now head to the the Little League Softball World Series, which takes place Aug. 3-10 in Greenville, North Carolina.
