A procession is being held for fallen Greensboro Police Officer Michael Horan on Friday, Dec. 27. Officer Horan was responding to a call at a Food Lion when he was gunned down in the store. The escort will begin at 4:30 p.

Funeral services are tentatively planned for Jan. 9 for Officer Michael Horan, formerly of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Greensboro Police Department will be escorting the body of Officer Michael Horan, who was shot and killed on Monday at the Food Lion on Lawndale Drive, from Raleigh back to Greensboro on Friday afternoon.
