At least one person was critically injured Saturday in a shooting at a protest against President Donald Trump in Salt Lake City. It came hours after two Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota were shot dead by a gunman.
Thousands gathered at Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Park Saturday evening for another “No Kings” protest, following the earlier demonstration at the University of Utah.
Police say the 21-year-old intentionally accelerated his SUV into dispersing protesters, striking one person with no reported injuries.
