The Galaxy S25 is a tale of two AIs: Gemini and Bixby. Yes, while Google's Gemini AI assistant sits at the forefront—it can finally be triggered through a long press of the power button—Samsung is bringing its original Bixby voice assistant out from the shadows.

The Galaxy S25 is available at Amazon, Best Buy, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in new navy, mint, icyblue, and silver shadow finishes. Samsung's online storefront carries additional blueblack, coralred, and pinkgold variants.

Samsung launched the S25 series which comes in three variants — the S25, S25+ and the S25 Ultra. The S25 starts at $799, the S25+ starts at $999 and the S25 Ultra starts at $1,299. Samsung touted improved artificial intelligence features as it looks to stay competitive against Apple and increasingly-competitive Chinese players.

There's no stylus or four cameras, but they've got all the AI fixings, plus a base of 12GB of RAM on both Galaxy S25 models.

During a media briefing on the new S25 series last week, Samsung explained that customers rarely ever used the “Air action” gestures. So the company decided to try and cut costs by ditching them entirely.

All versions of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in the US support eSIM. They also have a Nano SIM card slot for those who prefer a physical SIM card. Additionally, these come with dual-SIM functionality, but you will have to use one physical Nano SIM card and one eSIM profile.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 smartphones launched today, but when it comes to the all-important cameras, the company leaned on AI rather than making any meaningful changes. There is one welcome addition, though.
