A tornado watch is in effect for most Colorado counties south of Interstate 70 and east of the Interstate 25 corridor, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be another afternoon of stormy weather across the Denver metro area. We'll see a few showers Friday morning and then a risk of severe weather through early evening.

Friday will be another day with a risk for widespread stronger storms, especially across southeastern Colorado where tornadoes and large hail are likely. That risk includes the Denver area, but Denver's risk for severe storms is lower due to morning cloud cover and drizzle and light rain.
