The Trump administration plans to cut the financial watchdog agency from a workforce of about 1,700 employees to approximately 200 employees.

"Reform is good as long as it's holistic, but it's also got to be time-phased in over the next three years," said Brock Long.

The workers warn that staffing reductions and erosion of collective bargaining at the VA will hurt the agency’s ability to support veterans.
