Police said two men were working at a construction site in the 3400 block of West Ogden Avenue shortly after 8:30 a.m., when a 34-year-old man was killed after coming into contact with a power line.

The two men came in contact with a high-voltage electrical wire while working on the site near the intersection of Ogden and Homan Avenues, police and fire officials said.

Two construction workers were critically injured after being electrically shocked on the West Side Tuesday morning, a Chicago Fire Department official said.

Sources told WBBM the incident happened on a construction lift near Ogden and Homan about 8:30 a.m. One construction worker was killed and another was seriously injured, hospitalized in serious-to-critical condition,
