Last night's NXT saw Lexis King discussing potential changes to the Heritage Cup rules, only for the second-generation star to be interrupted by Fandango's old entrance theme. While that song was obviously familiar to the NXT faithful, the 41-year-old made it very clear that he was JDC and was there to represent TNA as part of the System.

Fandango, known as JDC in TNA, appeared on the February 4th episode of WWE NXT. This marked his first appearance on NXT since 2021. He confronted NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King and revealed that he would challenge for the gold on the February 11th episode of WWE NXT. In an NXT digital exclusive, Fandango commented on his return.
