As the Mahakumbh entered its third day today, Chief Minster Yogi Adityanath took stock of situations and reviewed arrangements with the officials. He issued directions to make arrangements for devotees for Mauni Amavasya.

The grand 45-day event began on Monday in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj and will conclude on February 26. The Uttar Pradesh govt expects participation by 45 crore people in the mega event.

Holy men began to come to the ghats of Prayagraj at 6:115 am and began the ritual bathing in the waters of Ganga. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate everyone who took part in the Amrit Snan.
