Jan 22, 2012 · We used to harvest crawfish and sell at bait shop in Meredith. I don't see any crawfish anymore. There used to be many mussels. Don't see too many anymore. Developments such as the one Peter Kraine constructed didn't do the lake much help. Day boats come and go. Who knows what is on the bottom of those boats. The lake is fed from the north.

Sep 24, 2024 · Beds and furniture are covered with drop cloths and we scatter dryer sheets around the camp and under the drop cloths. I sealed up all the pipes under the house and we haven't had any mice problems since. Way back we used moth balls which was the old school thing to do but the smell was horrible.

Laminated glass is used more and more these days and according to Gerry-whom I asked this question of-CANNOT be broken-there is no way to get past it.

Oct 8, 2012 · I used galvanized floating dock hardware and built a 6' X 8' unit using 2 X 6 cedar. Strong as sh--- and looks great - really blends in with the scenery. It is now 12 years old and as good as new. Its supported by 4 closed foam filled poly floats. I object to big yellow, blue, inflatable rafts - they detract from the scenic beauty.
