NASA Pandora Project
Used synonymously with other instruments, Pandora is able to validate collected data and extend the range of data collected on gases in the atmosphere. Today, Pandora instruments are distributed at over 100 locations worldwide and is a continually growing project.
NASA Pandora Project
of PGN in mid-2019 represents a programmatic shift by NASA and ESA towards establishing long-term fixed locations focused on providing long-term quality observations of total column and vertically resolved concentrations of a range of trace gases.
NASA Pandora Project
The Pandora spectrometer system is an instrument developed to measure vertical column densities of trace gases in the atmosphere using sun/lunar and sky radiation in the UV-visible part of the spectrum.
The Pandora Project - NASA
The Pandora Project coordinates and facilitates an expanding global network of standardized, calibrated Pandora instruments focused on air quality and atmospheric composition.
Pandora Project - NASA
The NASA GSFC Pandora spectrometer system retrieves total-column trace-gas densities utilizing sun-/lunar-viewing and sky-scanning techniques.

NASA Pandora Project
Pandora is a research-grade spectrometer system able to be deployed from a portable platform for use in a variety of applications and installations. Pandora data can be used for air quality monitoring, satellite algorithm refinement, interpixel variability, and in the developing understanding of the Earth’s climate.
