A humanoid robot is a robot resembling the human body in shape. The design may be for functional purposes, such as interacting with human tools and environments, for experimental purposes, such as the study of bipedal locomotion, or for other purposes.

Humanoid robots are robots that resemble and act like humans. Typically engineered to imitate authentic human expressions, interactions and movements, these robots are often outfitted with an array of cameras, sensors and, more recently, AI and machine learning technologies.

The humanoid robot’s appearance depends on the human body, and it comprises the torso having two legs, a head, and two arms. There are also the eyes, face, and mouth of these robots, which resemble humans. Gynoids are the popular female resembling robots.

As their name goes by, humanoid robots are built with human-like resemblance. They are designed to look similar to humans or resemble the human body. Hence, in most of the models, you will find human-like heads, torso, arms, and legs. Some of them even have eyes, mouth, and a face just like humans.
