Feb 17, 2023 · Trying to set it up today, I live abroad, so I make my rent payments via Natwest. But I download the app, and apparently because I haven't been using the app long, I can't set up biometric approval yet--with no indication as to WHEN I can set it up. First of all, that is stupid.

Jul 22, 2023 · Agreed. I switched mine on. Then for my convinience they switched them off. So I switched them back on. Then three months later for my convinience they switched them off and removed the option to switch them back on.

Jun 29, 2022 · The other day I received an email/letter from Natwest saying that they are no longer servicing clients in certain countries (including where I live) so my account is going to be closed down in 6 months. I called them to ask about this and they said it had something to do with Brexit and focusing on UK customers.

Oct 13, 2022 · Applied for a Natwest mortgage a couple of weeks ago and understand that there's generally a -lot- of slowdown at the moment, understandably. However The application stated we should receive an email with our mortgage application number within 5 working days, something that we can't chase our application up without.

Natwest have dual controls for their envelope drops, so there's very little risk when using a normal one. A lot of branches also have secure mailboxes too. Source: Used to be a cashier at a couple of NW branches.
