Picking the right VR-headset for MSFS2020/2024
Nov 28, 2024 · Hello, Im intending to get a VR headset, but I couldn’t find a clear documentation(s) regarding the hardware requirements for MSFS 2020 or 2024 in terms of the storage capacity. Is it required to buy one with a minimum storage capacity, or any is just fine? for example, the Meta Quest 3 128GB. I will be using it with MSFS2020 initially.

I currently use the AMD 7950x3D cpu and still a rtx 3090gpu, while waiting for the upcoming rtx 5090 to arrive in about a year from now. As for the VR headset, I use the Pimax Crystal, which currently seems to give the best possible picture.

Hi, This is false information, WMR is the software of which many HMDs use and this title was never optimized for any single HMD, I can understand where this confusion comes from as the initial details surrounding the VR inclusion where at best farcical.

I, however had a lot of fogging issues with it and an unexpected bonus with the Varjo was the inclusion of a heat extraction fan that resolved the fogging issue and improved longer session overall comfort.
