Aug 16, 2018 · From the sailboat data site. "As of 2012, Sabre ended production of sailing yachts though they have said it could be restored should the market improve". A 7 year old boat could be immaculate or was scrapped in last years hurricane and it is on the market for "very good price". SO it is less the boat and more the skipper.

May 24, 2013 · My marina is a dealer of their motor yachts. They sell about 25 a year. I have not seen many new Sabre sailboats in quite a while. The sailboat dealers come and go so I do not know who is currently selling them although I think it is brewer in S. Freeport.

Oct 22, 2014 · Yes a boat in good repair and outfitted for such a cruise, the Sabre could be termed a strong boat for "Light Offshore" use. One of the differences among boats i.e. Westsail and Sabre the shape and design of the two boats would impact the feel of the boat "sea kindly nature" in various sea states. That would be a subjective feel.
