How to preserve lemons

Don’t waste a drop from your lemons and limes! 🍋⁠ The best way to preserve citrus fruit is by keeping it in the fridge, but cold lemons and limes produce less juice compared to those at room temperature. The cold inhibits the activity of the juice sacs within the fruit so when the fruit is warmer, the juice sacs are more active and yield more juice. I typically microwave my lemon and limes for about 10-15 seconds just enough to knock the cold off of them. Be careful, you don’t want to overdo it
